Folk guitar might never get better, or more dissonant, than is achieved by Wendy on this album. Forged in an oven operated under shaky circumstances, this object popped out in the form of a silver pearl. deadite_237

This is the singer-songwriter companion to October's instrumental Bloodletting, played on the banjo, and contains an intimacy and intent that's drawn me to Wendy's music — to unravel and tangle an idea until it takes form. https://www.vikingschoice.org/archive/vikings-choice-to-bandcamp-friday-nov-2021/ Lars Gotrich

Impossible to choose a favourite song, tho this one resonates with the alien in me exploring earth/deciding what to bring back. This album is important beyond any words of mine. Your life is missing if you haven’t. Laura Fisher

Opener absolutely rips. Falls into the ranks of tracks like “Dance” by ESG, “Eisbaer” by Grauzone, “Damaged Goods” by Gang of Four or like the album description says Kleenex. This is some really good stuff. Favorite song is the opener but dedicate “Blue” to my friend Blue who lost her life at 22, she would have loved this album. TheBloodofChrist
